Embark on a journey of discovery with this poster full of German proverbs and sayings in B1 format! The result of a ton of research and doodling, the artwork features over 250 phrases in a mix of literal and (very) playful interpretations by an artist and illustrator who juggles German as a second language.
Great for loners, but perfect for learning together and language exchange - the poster is an absolute must for anyone who is interested in the German language and culture. It promotes exchange and is fun while exploring the intricacies of this wonderful language.
And the poster is just the beginning! On my Instagram page #wederendungen there are regular texts and explanations about the idioms shown. I collect suggestions and interpretations from visitors for the upcoming booklet version of the project.
IMPORTANT: Even though the phrases are based in my beloved Berlin neighborhood, where my studio is also located, the characters and people are completely imaginary. Any similarities to real people are purely coincidental.
